Financial Advisor Responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Successfully increase assets under management and revenue through direct sales of products and services available through M&I’s brokerage, insurance, banking and trust divisions. The main areas of focus include Business Development, Sales, Compliance, Customer Service, Team Building and Technical Skills. Develop and maintain a book of business by executing a comprehensive business plan. This program will focus on generating new business by developing external opportunities that exist within the Financial Advisor’s real market, leveraging the internal resources that exist within M&I’s Community Banking Network, and expanding existing client relationships.

Financial Advisor primary QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 – 5 years of successful sales experience in the financial planning, securities, or insurance industry.
  • Completion of NASD’s Series 7 and 63 and life insurance license required. Health insurance licenses must be obtained within the first six months of employment.
  • Acceptable compliance record from prior position(s).
