The Incumbents Application Engineer will be responsible for:

Facilitating a migration program for porting MES legacy software (an internally-developed process information application set termed as “GPI” executing on a VAX/VMS platform) to an IP21 server
Developing software, tools, and processes as needed to monitor the manufacturing environment.

• Need to have database experience
• Working knowledge of the database
• Understand the infrastructure that is involved int he database
• How the database works
• Application development
• Migrating from the old system to a new one (which will be IP21)
• Next Enterprise Architecture (NEA)
• Looking for a strong IT background with an application specialty
• Migrating data to the new Aspen Tech system
• SQL & Window server experience is helpful
