Registered Nurse License Verification
Registered Nurse License Verification is a person certified to assist individuals with healthcare needs under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. The terminology and requirements, including testing procedures, vary from country to country. In the United States, you may encounter names such as Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC), State Tested Nurse Aid (STNA) or Nursing Assistant-Registered (NA/R).
After successful completion of the training program, you will be entered in the State registry of nursing aides. To keep your certification you must complete 48 hours of continuing education every 24 months.

To avoid the hassle of a lot of paperwork, a CNA simply needs to find the nurse aide registry website for their county and city and visit the office to turn in their certificate and license so that a copy of the original is made. After that, the CNA is able to keep the original documents and the registration verification office will post this information on the verification database for the medical community and the government.
