Payment Services Strategy:

Establish the bank’s overall Payment Services strategy in collaboration with Executive Management; provide strategic direction and oversight, including the development of short-and long-term plans, strategies, and policies for deposit products, credit cards, debit cards, cash management, and emerging payment services as they develop.

Develop, implement and manage Payment Services Business Plan and budget.

Monitor developing trends and products within the Payment Industry as well as changes within the competitive marketplace to ensure the bank maintains its competitive position.

Product Management & Development:

Provide product management oversight for consumer and business checking, savings, and health savings accounts (HSAs) to include evaluation of products, services, market area definition, targeted customer segments, and recommend modifications in design, delivery, and pricing. Oversee formulation of comprehensive strategies for all checking and HSA products through the entire product lifecycle.

Ensure new product business cases are developed and subsequent tracking and trend analyses are performed by the Product Managers. Provide oversight for new product roll-outs and existing product revisions.

Effectively utilize the Business Intelligence team and CRM Manager to gain insights into account, product, customer, and market trends to inform product and payment services strategies and tactics.

Collaborate with the Marketing Department, Digital Channel Manager, and internal business units to promote and communicate deposit products and payment services.

The track revenue impact of payment services as part of the annual budget process. Understand cost structure (contract terms), and product financials, including revenue impact and product profitability. Support the business lines by providing insight into deposit related trends for budgeting.

Keep abreast of the regulatory environment and ensure Product Managers develop and maintain products and services following regulatory guidelines and which are compliant with disclosure requirements.

Responsible for managing the vendor relationship, including all vendor management responsibilities, for cash management and ACH services. (FIS)

Provide oversight for the vendor relationship for credit (Elan) and debit (FIS/Visa) cards.

Motivate personnel and promote workplace enthusiasm; provide opportunities for professional growth through education and training; provide tools/skills necessary for employee growth.
