Tax accountant Assist with US indirect tax activities including preparation of sales & use tax returns, business license, annual report and unclaimed property filings

Compiles and generates Corporate/internal monthly financial statements and other related financial reports. Ensures compliance with Corporate reporting requirements. Analyzes and recaps various balance sheet and expense accounts

At John Deere Ag and Turf, our Accountant will prepare and analyze product improvement program reports and ensure the accuracy of the accounting entries. You will review month-end billing to ensure adherence to the revenue recognition guidelines.

Assists in providing state and local tax compliance services and federal compliance services to assigned business segments and related subsidiaries and operations.

The Accountant supports the timely filing of returns and payments for property, excise and miscellaneous tax returns for federal, state and local jurisdictions. The Accountant also performs research and analysis to optimize tax results and ensure proper controls are in effect.
