At John Deere Ag and Turf, our Accountant will prepare and analyze product improvement program reports and ensure the accuracy of the accounting entries. You will review month-end billing to ensure adherence to the revenue recognition guidelines.

Assists in providing state and local tax compliance services and federal compliance services to assigned business segments and related subsidiaries and operations.

Responsible for performing accounting tasks in general accounting or related financial areas. Prepare weekly and quarterly report utilizing accounting applications and provide general ledger reporting for assigned function.

The Accountant supports the timely filing of returns and payments for property, excise and miscellaneous tax returns for federal, state and local jurisdictions. The Accountant also performs research and analysis to optimize tax results and ensure proper controls are in effect.
