Accounting Assistant/Bookeeper in Phase II - Upper Saddle River, NJ

We are looking for an energetic person who is detail-oriented and thorough. Phase II, an Industrial Equipment Manufacturer, in Upper Saddle River, NJ, is offering an Accounting Assistant/Bookeeper position to handle daily accounting entry and various office duties.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of general accounting concepts
  • Accounting software skills – Sage 100 or similar ERP preferred
  • Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Discretion

Job Details Include:

  • Daily transactions, order processing, invoicing, credits, receipts, journal entries, etc
  • Sales credit card processing, RMA’s
  • Monthly reconciliation
  • Assist with basic office functions when needed
  • Light vendor/customer contact-assist answering phones
  • Team player to assist others as needed

Experience and Education:

  • Sage 100: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Bookkeeping: 5 years (Required)
  • Bachelor’s (Required)
