The incumbent Application Engineer will be responsible for:

Facilitating a migration program for porting MES legacy software (an internally developed process information application set termed as “GPI” executing on a VAX/VMS platform) to an IP21 server
Developing software, tools, and processes as needed to monitor the manufacturing environment.

Need to have database experience
Working knowledge of the database
Understand the infrastructure that is involved in the database
How the database works
Application development
Migrating from the old system to a new one (which will be IP21)
Next Enterprise Architecture (NEA)
Looking for a strong IT background with an application specialty
Migrating data to the new Aspen Tech system
SQL & Windows Server experience is helpful
