Skills and Experience Necessary
- Grasp of modern software design practices.
- A Strong foundation of relational database practices.
- Experience developing clean, organized, standards compliant client-side code (XHTML, CSS, Javascript)
- Experience with PHP5 and PHP OOP
- Experience LAMP Stack and comfortable with basic shell scripting
Software Engineer Additional Experience Desired
- System Admin Experience in Linux environment (Lamp Stack in particular)
- Mobile Dev Experience (Android, iPhone, Windows Mobile)
- Experience with MVC and MVC Frameworks (RoR, Django, CakePHP, etc.)
- Experience with AWS or other “cloud”/VPS services (Rackspace Server, Slicehost, etc.)
- Experience with Unit Testing (e.g. PHPUnit and Selenium)
- Memcached Experience
- ActionScript 3.0
- Experience developing on Open Source Projects
