Tompkins Financial Advisors: Building Wealth with Community-Focused Guidance
Strong financial planning often starts with trust—and that’s exactly what Tompkins Financial Advisors has built over more than 175 years of service. Rooted in central New York, the firm has grown into a respected wealth management organization offering comprehensive financial guidance to individuals, families, and businesses. With offices across New York and southeastern Pennsylvania, Tompkins combines local insight with professional expertise to help clients navigate investments, retirement planning, and long-term wealth strategies.
As an independent, fee-based wealth management firm, Tompkins Financial Advisors focuses on personalized financial strategies rather than one-size-fits-all solutions. Advisors take time to understand each client’s financial goals, lifestyle priorities, and long-term plans before building investment strategies designed to support steady financial growth. Backed by the resources of Tompkins Financial Corporation, a financial services holding company managing billions in assets, the firm blends community banking values with modern financial planning.
Investment and advisory services are delivered through LPL Financial, a registered investment advisor and broker-dealer and member of FINRA and SIPC. This partnership allows advisors to offer a wide range of investment options, insurance solutions, and financial planning tools while maintaining an independent advisory approach. Through this structure, clients gain access to diverse financial products while still receiving guidance tailored to their personal financial situation.
Throughout changing economic conditions—including recent public health challenges—the firm has remained focused on protecting both clients and employees while continuing to deliver reliable financial services. With its long-standing history, community-centered philosophy, and access to broad investment resources, Tompkins Financial Advisors continues to position itself as a trusted partner for individuals seeking thoughtful and dependable wealth management guidance.
