Software Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and other web presentation technologies
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, AngularJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js, or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Working knowledge of responsive design principles
- Experience writing JavaScript unit tests (e.g. Jasmine, Mocha)
- Strong problem-solving skills in all areas of web development
- Understands how to deliver high-quality code in an agile environment
- Experience with revision control (preferably Git)
- Familiarity with web application development on mobile platforms
- Experience developing for cloud services, e.g., AWS
- Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, and JSON
- Experience working with REST services
- Experience with NoSQL data stores, e.g. MongoDB
- Experience with Twitter Bootstrap
- Experience with Flexbox
- Experience with ECMAScript 2015 (ES6)
- Experience with build systems. e.g. Gulp, Grunt, Brunch
