Nurse Auditor at CGI in Cleveland, OH
Nurse Job Description:
CGI Federal, a wholly owned subsidiary of CGI, has openings in Cleveland, OH for Nurse Auditors. Working in a dynamic environment, the incumbents will be responsible for reviewing medical records to determine whether the documentation substantiates medical necessity for inpatient admission (short-term stays). Also, the Nurse Auditors will record results of the studies in CGI’s proprietary customized auditing software (CAS) and refer cases to physician reviewers for further examination as needed. Accordingly, we are seeking Registered Nurses that have at least five years of clinical experience, preferably in the areas of Med/Surg, ER, UR or CM; knowledge of determining medical necessity is a plus. Proficiency with MS Office Suite is required.
