Responsibilities of Head Bookkeeper Job in Coborn’s Inc.:
As an employee of Coborn’s, Inc., the Head Bookkeeper performs bookkeeping and service counter operations and maintains high standards of customer service throughout front-end operations. Duties include register pickups, balancing register drawers, balancing accounts, updating balances in the cash register system, safe recordkeeping, charge account recordkeeping, and preparing daily reports and deposits (bank, post office, money order, and lottery). May direct staff when in charge of the department to include: directing workload, counseling, training, performance evaluations, and supervision. Performs calculations on a computer and calculator.
Head Bookkeeper Qualifications:
The Head Bookkeeper position requires a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and one to two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and expertise. Must have high math ability and strong organizational skills; as well as have a working knowledge of computers and possess basic supervisory skills. This position requires the need to provide exceptional customer service by treating all clients and co-workers with dignity and respect. Must be self-motivated, energetic and customer service-oriented.
