Skills and Experience Necessary

  • Grasp of modern software design practices.
  • A Strong foundation of relational database practices.
  • Experience developing clean, organized, standards compliant client-side code (XHTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Experience with PHP5 and PHP OOP
  • Experience LAMP Stack and comfortable with basic shell scripting

Software Engineer Additional Experience Desired

  • System Admin Experience in Linux environment (Lamp Stack in particular)
  • Mobile Dev Experience (Android, iPhone, Windows Mobile)
  • Experience with MVC and MVC Frameworks (RoR, Django, CakePHP, etc.)
  • Experience with AWS or other “cloud”/VPS services (Rackspace Server, Slicehost, etc.)
  • Experience with Unit Testing (e.g. PHPUnit and Selenium)
  • Memcached Experience
  • ActionScript 3.0
  • Experience developing on Open Source Projects
