The Staff Accountant provides accounting services to a number of organizations on a recurring basis. In this role you will be responsible for performing all of the major accounting functions, including the month-end close and financial statement preparation.
As a Senior Accountant, you will work directly with clients and be responsible for the following:
Requirements A minimum of 1-3 years of progressively responsible accounting experience through the Staff level is required. This experience must include hands-on responsibility for: bank reconciliations, month-end close, and basic general ledger reconciliation.
A 4-year degree in Accounting is required and working towards completing the CPA exam is preferred.
Must be professional, self-motivated, exhibit good problem solving skills, and a proven ability to work well with accounting personnel. A service mentality and a comprehensive understanding of accounting standards and issues is also required.
