Integral Systems’ Military and Intelligence Group is a leading provider of command and control products for U.S. military and intelligence communications satellites and provide ground systems software and equipment for multiple U.S. DoD programs. Our products are used extensively in U.S. Air Force satellite control systems and our customers include major aerospace corporations such as Lockheed Martin Corporation, Boeing Satellite Systems, Inc., Honeywell International, Inc., Northrop Grumman Corporation, and Raytheon Company. We are the prime contractor for the U.S. Air Force Space and Missiles System Center (“SMC”) Command and Control Systems—Consolidated (“CCS-C”) contract. Integral Systems Inc. is seeking a software development engineer who support new and existing software supporting existing government defense contract, leveraging modern software technologies.
This Software Engineer candidate must be self-motivated, work well independently, be a self-learner, able to work well as part of a larger team, and able to work well on a short schedule. Candidate must be able to quickly and efficiently generate estimates and status of design efforts, including materials (such as presentation slides), for use internally as well as with potential customers.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at a Secret level.

Software Engineer Job Qualifications
REQUIRED of Software Engineer candidates:
A four year degree plus a minimum of three years experience with 5 being preferred.
Development skills required include: C/C++, Java; Technology experience includes: Windows, Unix, Linux.
Awareness of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) technologies and techniques (including Enterprise Service Bus, WS-* standards)
- Development with web-based technologies and server application (including web toolkits, Web Services, REST)
Awareness of web technologies and service-oriented (SOA)/enterprise architectures is a plus. Experience in real-time command and control systems is a plus. Experience with designing and implementing resilient, server-based web applications or enterprise solutions is a plus.
