Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this position will manage a team of software developers to create and drive new architectures and enhancements to our core connectivity platform.

  1. Create and Maintain software development schedules;
  2. Work with product management and Director of Engineering to define the core platform roadmap;
  3. Identify and implement new processes and quality initiatives;
  4. Train, mentor, and review development staff;

o BS or MS in Computer Science or related field;
o A minimum of 2 years of experience managing software development projects;
+ New feature development and issue resolution in parallel.
+ Experience measuring and reviewing engineer performance.
o 5+ years software development experience;
o Windows experience strongly desired;
o Architecture and design experience strongly desired;
o Solid understanding of software configuration management processes;
o GSM or CDMA software development experience a plus;
o WLAN and VPN software development experience a plus;
o Exposure to 4G technologies such as WiMAX or LTE a plus
o Excellent communication skills (written and oral) as well as interpersonal skills.
