Description of Nurse Midwife at Mercy Health Services,Inc.

• The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the ante partum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients at Mercy Medical Center.
• The Certified Nurse Midwife provides support to the Labor and Delivery unit 24 hours/7days per week, 365 days/year functioning as physician extenders for the attending physicians and OB GYN residents under the supervision of the Chairman of the Department of OB GYN.

Education/Work Experience:

• Must possess a State of Maryland Certified Nurse Midwife License and current CPR Card.
• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
