High volume, fast paced medical communications agency seeks a part time programmer /​ developer for our web development department

Responsibilities:

• Program, code, and maintain interactive applications for the web
• Maintain server environment, including DNS and IIS
• Maintain Application documentation
• Flowcharting and wireframing
• Other tasks as required by IT Director

Requirements:

• Proficiency with classic ASP, PHP, and ASP.​Net,
• Proficiency with HTML and CSS
• Proficiency with SQL databases
• Experience working in both Mac and Windows environments
• Knowledge of latest web standards and cross-platform and browser issues
• Strong sense of logic, decoding, and debugging
• Ability to update existing code
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to interact professionally with internal staff under pressure
• Must be detail oriented, organized, able to multi-task
• Regular, reliable and punctual attendance

Potential to migrate to a full-time position
Education:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred.​

Software engineer Salary range: between $23 and $26 per hour, depending on skill and experience
