Description of Financial Accountant Job:
The Financial Accountant is responsible ensuring the integrity of YRMC’s financial records through financial activities including but not limited to preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of general ledger accounts and bank accounts, maintenance of fixed assets and production of financial statements. In addition, the Financial Accountant will participate in budget process and year-end audit.
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance Education Preferred: CPA and/or MBA
Experience Required: 3+ years experience in Accounting. Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word Experience Preferred: Hospital or healthcare experience, McKesson Star/Trendstar software experience. Knowledge of MS Access.
